Welcome to Sonara: Relaxing Sleep Sounds ("Sonara", "we", "our", or "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our mobile application.
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect:
User-Generated Content
We collect content you create including saved mixes, published mixes, comments, and reactions.
Device & Technical Data
You may sign in using email/password or Google Sign-In. Authentication is handled by Firebase Authentication (Google).
Sonara may display banner ads powered by Google AdMob. Founding members and users in regions where ads are disabled will not see advertisements. AdMob may collect your advertising ID to serve relevant ads.
Your data is stored securely on Google Firebase servers. All data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS. Audio files are cached locally on your device and can be cleared at any time from Settings.
You can permanently delete your account and all associated data from within the app: Settings → Delete Account. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.
You may also request deletion by visiting our data deletion page or emailing support@sonara.app.
Sonara is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.
We may update this policy periodically. Changes will be posted here with a revised effective date. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
